Most of us know pretty well about the 3 credit reporting agencies: TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. The 3 credit reporting agencies record and maintain your personal and business credit information. Whenever you want to apply for a credit card, a mortgage, or an auto loan, you have to provide you detailed personal information to the credit grantor who will then randomly check your credit report from one or all three above mentioned credit reporting agencies.

This afternoon when I was talking to my friend Scott, he asked:”Why do you have so many credit cards? Do you love them? Why do you love credit cards?”. I told him that I love my credit cards very much and the reason why I have so many differnt credit cards is to maximum the rewards I can get from credit cards.

Bank of America has a $75 sign-up bonus for signing up a MyAccess checking account. This is not a new banking promotion. Actually, Bank of America is giving out sign-up bonues for their customers all year round. I got $200 sign-up bonus from Bank of America for signing up their MyAccess checking account last July.

Effective from July 1st, 2008, you can use Visa debit cards for smaller purchases without entering your PIN, the same way you can skip signing receipts when you use signature based purchases. This is a result of the investigation of antitrust division of Justice Department.

This Everyday Rewards Visa Card issued by National City Bank is one of my favorite rewards card. I use this card essentially everyday. I have also mentioned this card in “My Favorite Rewards Credit Cards” post. I forgot to mention that this card was selected as one of Kiplinger’s Best of the Cash Back Card.
